a. Resume Uploads

  • The resume file you upload (PDF, DOC, DOCX) is temporarily processed for:
    • AI-based suggestions

    • ATS compatibility check
  • ✅ We do NOT store these files on any permanent server.

b. Form Inputs

If you use tools like the AI Resume Generator or Cover Letter Generator, we may collect:

  • Name, email (if entered)
  • Education, skills, work experience, job title, company name
  • This data is used only for generating content in real time

c. Technical Data

  • Device type, browser, IP address (for session security)
  • Anonymous usage logs (for tool performance improvement)
  • No location or personal identity is stored beyond your session

⚠️ Only necessary, context-specific information (like resume text or job title) is sent to OpenAI’s API for real-time output.
✅ OpenAI does NOT store this data as we use their data privacy-safe endpoint (no training use).

⏳ 4. Data Retention Policy

We only keep your data temporarily to complete the requested process.

  • Resume files are automatically deleted from our system within a short period (typically under 1 hour)
  • AI-generated resume content is stored only in your browser session (via sessionStorage)
  • If you leave or close the page, the data disappears

We do not maintain any database of user resumes or inputs.
